Our Le Grand Cèdre IGP Vaucluse wines are the fruit of an exceptional terroir and great winemaking expertise. Each bottle embodies the richness and diversity of the grape varieties of our region, offering an authentic taste and aromatic experience, typical of the Luberon lands.

IGP Vaucluse wines (Protected Geographical Indication) come from the appellation of the southern Rhône Valley wine region, located in the Vaucluse department in France. This appellation is a distinctive sign, guaranteeing the origin and quality of a wine. There are no fewer than a hundred grape varieties authorized in the composition of IGP Vaucluse wines. This diversity gives these wines a very wide aromatic palette, offering a multitude of taste experiences. The grapes, nourished and gorged by the sun and the mistral, are rich in taste and intensity, for fruity, ample and gourmet wines.

-> Le Grand Cèdre Blanc 2023 – Ugni Blanc, Vermentino and Clairette grape varieties.

Our White wine Le Grand Cèdre is made from the Ugni Blanc, Vermentino and Clairette grape varieties. Ugni Blanc is a grape variety frequently used in the production of dry white wines, highly appreciated for its natural acidity. It brings volume and finesse to the wine. Vermentino, popular in Italy, Sardinia and Corsica, is relatively light and fat, often blended with other grape varieties such as Ugni Blanc. Clairette, is considered one of the oldest grape varieties in the south of France, it gives the wine floral or white fruit aromas.

Our white wine Le Grand Cèdre is distinguished by its lively aromas of citrus and exotic fruits, softened by the delicacy of white flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, offering a beautiful liveliness and minerality.

It will be perfect for an aperitif, and will also go well with white meat or fish.

Caladoc is a relatively recent grape variety that appeared in 1958 following the cross between Grenache Noir and Malbec, it guarantees wines that are both distinctive and round. Grenache Noir gives the wine aromas of small red fruits, as well as great sweetness and brilliance. Merlot and Cinsault add a touch of freshness and fruit, while Carignan gives indulgence and intensity. Cabernet Sauvignon, the most widespread grape variety in the world, is structured and powerful, bringing a great aromatic diversity.

Light, fresh and fruity, this wine reveals delicate aromas of strawberry and redcurrant, revived by the liveliness of exotic fruits. Its pale and delicate color, as well as its silky and round texture in the mouth, make it a most pleasant wine to taste.

Our Le Grand Cèdre Rosé wine will be ideal for an aperitif, served chilled, as well as throughout the meal to accompany a barbecue or a light summer meal! Accompany our rosé wine with table olives and tapenade toast for a typically Provencal aperitif!

-> Le Grand Cèdre Rouge 2021 - Merlot, Marselan and Syrah grape varieties

The 2021 vintage of our red wine Le Grand Cèdre is a harmonious marriage of the Syrah, Merlot and Marselan grape varieties. Merlot is a red grape variety, which appeared at the end of the 18th century, whose fruit is generally expressed with finesse and lightness. Syrah, on the other hand, is native to the Rhône Valley. This red grape variety stands out for the power of its tannins and the complexity of its aromas. Marselan, on the other hand, is a red grape variety with powerful and concentrated aromas.

Structured and intense, this wine is characterized by delicious aromas of red and black fruits. The complexity of its grape varieties also allows the development of distinct flavors of spices and undergrowth. On the palate, it has a balanced tannic structure, with a long and elegant finish.

This wine will be ideal to accompany grilled meats, dishes in sauce and mature cheeses.
